베르다드는 스페인어로 “진실”이라는 뜻이다. 마치 꿈 속에서 살아 숨쉬는 느낌을 주는 이 브랜드는 미국 로스앤젤레스에서 옷을 디자인 하여 생산한다. 베르다드의 디자이너 루이 베르다드는 15년 이상의  디자인 경력을 가지고 있으며 그의 고객중에는 세계적인 유명인 마돈나와 케이트 블란쳇도 있다.
