We are sad to say another Seoul Fashion Week has come and gone.
From classics to trends, and everything in between, Seoul proves once again it knows the A, B, C’s of style.

87MM took on something new this season, trading its bold approach for a more muted, subdued concept.
With just a touch of leopard and pops of color here and there, the collection stuck to earthy khaki and brown tones as it paraded classic styles down the runway. Plaid, long coats, and simple layers are styles anyone can emulate, and trading in jeans for pants of varying textures is a easy way to elevate your look.
87MM’s puffer jackets—dubbed “padding” in Konglish—and blazer combos may also be here to stay as a key staple in Korean winter fashion with the perfect mix of stylish and practical.
While keeping away from anything too unconventional, 87MM clearly knows its target audience and there is little doubt the styles will be a hit on the streets this fall.
87MM은 이번 시즌에 볼드 룩에서 멀어지다가 부드러운 컨셉으로 간다.
이런 클래식한 스타일에는 레퍼드 프린트와 화려한 색깔이 조금 있었지만 주로 카키색, 갈색 같은 자연에 가까운 색을 사용했다.
컬렉션을 주름잡았던 플래드, 롱 자켓, 간단한 레이어 스타일은 아무나 따라할 수 있는 스타일이며 모델들 처럼 청바지를 다른 질감이 있는 바지로 교환하는 것이 스타일을 업그레이드 하게 해준다.
그리고, 외국에서 ‘puffer’ 자켓이라는 패딩과 블레이저를 같이 입는 것은 스타일과 현실성의 균형이 있기에 올해 겨울의 트렌드가 될 수도 있다.
87MM은 대담한 것을 하지 않았어도 고객 타겟을 분명히 알고 있으며 올해도 사람들이 87MM의 트렌디한 옷을 사랑하는 것은 의심할 여지가 없다.
The bad boy anthem—That’s what comes to mind when peeping through the Han Chul Lee collection.
The models solemn expressions, as they stride down the runway in dark colors, leather and buckles, toughen up the looks; although, there is a bit of a sporty vibe with those track pants.
The clean lines of the sophisticated jackets also accentuate an air of confidence while dressing up the hoodie look.
Paired with boots, the looks have major wearability while simultaneously keeping the charm of a classic.
Though Han Chul Lee kept it a bit simple this season, we hope to see him bring out his true potential in the next collection.
한철리 컬렉션을 죽 홅어보면서 베드 보이라는 테마가 떠올랐다.
어두운 색, 가죽 버클을 입고 런웨이를 활보하면 트레이닝 바지가 스포티한 느낌을 주며 강인한 룩을 보여준다.
세련된 재킷의 매끈한 실루엣은 후드를 갖추어진 모습으로 만들어 주어 모델들이 더 자신감 있게 보이게 해준다.
클래식한 매력과 함께 부츠를 함께 신었을때도 잘 어울리는 룩이다.
한철리는 지난 컬렉션에 비해 올해 더 간단한 컬렉션을 만들었지만 다음 컬렉션에서 보여줄 모습또한 기대된다.

Nohant was the definition of cozy this fashion week season, with the perfect looks for braving the outdoors or cuddling inside.
The word of this collection (and the brand) is unisex. Printed on simple tees and hoodies, the mix of men and women’s styles have something for everyone on the gender spectrum. Chic in anything from loose-fitting jeans to dresses, the effortlessness in the looks is undoubtedly appealing.
Nohant kept it cozy in knits tops and shorts, giving us an expected surprise with puffer.. pants? The wide leg fit was absolute perfection, and we can just imagine how warm it would be in Seoul’s frigid winters.
Vests and hoodies were layered over jackets, keeping it casual, while our eyes were drawn to a key detail: extra-long straps, belts, and scarves.
A winter wonderland with outfits to match, the collection’s woodsy style with a punch of plaid has us imagining the magic of winter in store.
이번 패션위크에 가장 아늑한 옷을 만들었던 브랜드는 노항이다. 겨울 날씨에 용감하게 밖에 나가든지 집에서 영화보든지 노항의 컬렉션이 완벽한다.
컬렉션을 묘사하기 위해 ‘유니섹스’라는 단어다. 심플한 티셔츠와 후디에 ‘유니섹스’라는 단어를 프린트하고 컬렉션에 남자와 여자들을 위한 무언가를 가지고 있다.
루즈 청바지와 원피스를 입는 것은 노력하지 않아도 매력이 있는 룩이다.
니트 탑, 반바지를 보면 정말 아늑해 보이지만 예상을 못 된 패딩..바지? 나왔다. 아주 멋진 와이드레그가 있고 서울의 추운 겨울에 입으면 정말 따뜻하겠다고 생각한다.
자켓 위에 베스트와 후디를 캐주얼하게 덧대는데 세부 사항은 정말 긴 스트랩, 벨트, 목도리가 많다.
노항의 컬렉션은 겨울 동화나라 같은 분위기 때문에 올해 겨울을 이미 공상하게 한다.
We’ve skipped spring and landed right into summer, but we’re still head over heels for these street style looks. We don’t know about you, but we’re taking notes—can never have too much inspiration!
And the best part? Seoul is becoming more international than ever, attracting fashionistas from all over the globe. With a good mix of Korean and foreign talent, we’ve got the best of both worlds.

Moon Lee Artwear, true to its name, merges art and fashion into one. Its breathtaking statement jackets center on the image of a candle, bringing the designer’s message to life. Keeping the collection modern with a few select trends, like stripes and plaid and a touch of ‘off the shoulder’, Moon Lee Artwear attempts to balance an age-old battle between creativity and commercialism. The pieces are colorful in their own way, with dark muted tones and a dash of sparkle, and the buttons are enough to make fashion-enthusiasts fall in love. A refreshing, tactful take on being unabashed by the female form, Moon Lee Artwear’s outerwear is a must-try later this year.
문리아트웨어라는 이름처럼 문리아트웨어는 아트와 패션을 하나로 합쳐져 조화되게 한다. 양초들 가운데 위치한 자켓의 숨이 멎는 듯한 스테이트멘트 자켓은 디자이너 이인주의 메시지를 전달한다. 문리아트웨어는 스트라이프, 플래드, 오프 숄더 같은 몇 가지 트렌드를 사용하여 컬렉션을 모던하게 만들며 창조성과 상업성 사이의 오래된 문제를 해결하고 균형 잡기위해 노력한다.
그녀의 옷은 어두운 톤이지만 빛나고, 색감이 화려하여 패션에 관심이 있는 사람들이 단추 마저도 사랑에 빠지게 만들어 주었다. 상쾌하고 미묘하며 여성적인 면을 잘 보여주는 문리아트웨어는 올 가을 반드시 입어야 하는 브랜드다.
A big name in the Korean fashion industry, Pushbutton kept things a bit tame this season, opting to keep things interesting in subtle ways.
The casual, yet polished, looks arrived in a mix of bright and muted colors. Details were the focus of this collection: gloves that extended past the elbow and waist-enhancing jackets, whether with belts, knots, or cropping it just so. A glance down below showed us the alternation between ankle strap mary jane heels and the infamous socks and slides combination that only Nike had successfully pulled off for a good while.
Keeping its patterns limited to checks, plaid, and a lightening bolt, Pushbutton’s cool vibe manifested itself in its styling, wearing jackets with one side off the shoulder.Though this didn’t have us falling in love like with past seasons, Pushbutton’s sense of self is not lost, and we see a lot of one-shoulder styling in Seoul’s street style future.
한국 패션 산업에 유명한 푸시버튼은 F/W ’17 시즌에 미묘하게 흥미를 유지해봤다.
캐주얼 하고 화려한 색깔과 차분한 색깔을 혼합한 옷이라도 되게 우아한 옷이다.
이 컬렉션은 팔꿈치까지 올라오는 장갑과 허리를 강조하는 자켓은 포인트며 발 쪽을 보면 모델들이 다 앤클스트랩 신발이나 선수처럼 양말-슬리퍼 콤보를 신었다.
푸시버튼은 체크, 플래드, 번개 표시로 한정된 패턴 밖에 패턴을 많이 안 썼지만 푸시버튼의 원숄더 스타일링이 정말 트렌디한 것이다.
지난 컬렉션들보다 이번 컬렉션과는 사랑에 빠지지 않았지만 푸시버튼의 성격이 빛을 발하여 서울 스트릿 패션에 원숄더 스타일의 트렌드를 시작이라고 생각한다.
Zion U, just one letter off popular singer Zion T., is a brand that knows how to keep it simple, showing the restraint to not go overboard.
To go with the new classic puffer jacket, Zion U added a pop of color and new silhouette to create the next “must-have” jacket this fall.
For details, focus was on the neck with collars and ascots, matching well with the collection’s clean lines.
And the brand kept the colors muted with a pop of red, helping it blend in with the Seoul city lifestyle.
Creating a mix of popular trends, Zion U’s wearable collection will definitely be a favorite of Seoulites this fall.
자이언티와 한글자 다른 브랜드 자이언유는 어떻게 간단 명료할 수 있는 것을 잘 알고 있으며 확실히 극단적이지 않은 브랜드다.
자이언유는 새로운 클래식한 패딩과 어울리기 위하여 대담한 색채, 색다른 실루엣을 더해 올해 가을에 필수템을 만들었다.
디테일을 보면 칼라와 넥스카프처럼 목 쪽으로 악세서리에 초점을 두었는데 컬렉션의 분위기가 잘 맞았으며
빨간색을 제외한 옷의 색깔은 질박한 색깔이기에 서울시민 라이프스타일과도 잘 어울린다.
인기가 많은 트렌드를 섞어 디자인하는 자이언유는 서울에 사는 사람들에게 가장 좋은 컬렉션이 될 것이다.
Blindness drew inspiration from the Baroque period, making a dramatic, eclectic collection for the upcoming season.
The mix of full sleeves with bold jewelry and pearls blurred modern gender lines, along with bandeau tops, and created a new standard for unisex wear.
One-sleeve jackets and belts added the perfect amount of attention to the waist, while eyelet details, quilted pants, and sheer shoulder-high gloves gave off an air of extravagance.
Baroque even knew when to tone down the pieces by throwing in a bit of casual wear now and then, though the knee high boots fell a bit short.
Glamming up the toil of the every day, Blindness’ balance of art, drama, and detail is a perfect cocktail for the bold and stylish.

원 슬리브 자켓과 벨트가 허리로 관심을 끌어주며 진정한 드라마식으로 아일릿, 어깨까지 올라오는 쉬어 장갑 디테일을 추가했지만 마지막으로 집중해야 하는 것은 퀼티드 팬츠다.
드라마틱한 컬렉션이어도 캐주얼한 옷 몇벌로 밸런스를 진정시킬수 있는 방법을 잘 알고 있는 것 같은데 옷보다 무릎까지 오는 부츠만은 예상을 벗어났다.
Blindness는 아트, 드라마, 디테일의 균형을 찾으며 똑같은 스타일이 있는 사람들의 힘든 하루를 밝혀 줄 것이다.
Cres. E Dim: A brand for the hipsters, the effortlessly cool, the popular. Ranging from musty, earthy hues to rich jewel tones, the brand had its signature loose-fitted look on point this season. Oversized hoodies, jackets, and wide-legged pants were belted at the waist for some shape, with a dash of asymmetry in the details. Though the collection featured calf-length hems and intriguing layers, the similarities to its previous collections—for example the exaggerated sleeves that once again appeared on the runway—has us wondering if the “Cool Kids Survival Guide” theme’s lifespan is dwindling.
크레즈에딤은 노력하지 않아도 멋있고 인기가 많으며 힙스터 같은 사람을 위한 브랜드다.
이번 시즌에는 황토색깔부터 보석 닮은 색깔까지 브랜드의 헐렁헐렁한 포인트를 보여줬다. 오버사이즈 후디와 자켓, 그리고 와이드 팬츠가 허리에 벨트를 매게 되어 있어 모델들의 모양을 자랑하며 세부적으로 보면 비대칭도 볼 수 있었다.
컬렉션은 카프 렝스 하의와 흥미로운 레어링이 있어도 전 컬렉션과 유사한 점이 있다고 생각되는데 런웨이에 롱슬리브 셔츠가 또 나왔기에 ‘어떻게 멋있는 사람이 될 수 있는 방법’이라는 주제가 곧 사라질까 생각하게 된다.
